Hi Stockton,
Hope you had a good flight home.  Wanted to thank you for my notebook. That was very kind of you and I do appreciate.  It is still hot here and looks like it will be that way for the next two or three days.  Looking forward to the classes in the fall.  I don’t do much cooking anymore but I love to go to cooking classes.  I do want to start doing small dinner parties again, however.  Thanks again.
Luv, Sharon

I cannot believe this!!! I will be in Memphis attending my dear friend’s daughter’s wedding. I was so looking forward to this class. I know you will come again and I will be there. Have a good summer and know that you have a fan and friend in me.

I wish we could have made every class this year.  I wanted to thank you for such a good time, and I hope you’ll be able to hold classes next year as well.  I’ve posted a couple of your recipes up on our blog…

I’ve made your coq au vin but I haven’t done the write-up yet – it was delicious, though.
Take care, and you still owe me a duck recipe from the last time I saw you!  Hope to see you next year

Hi there,
I talked to you at the Cooking class in Hot Springs about the meatloaf recipe.  Would you please, please, please send me that recipe.  Everyone in my family wants to try it. My son and his wife will be here in a couple of weeks and I want to impress them with some of the really good food that I’ve learned from you!
Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you next month!

Just home from a wine tasting/appetizer party in the neighborhood and my contribution was the wild mushroom nachos.  WOW!!!  They were so good and a crowd pleaser too.  So impressive and not that time consuming to make. The corn tortillas from the Mexican grocery on Crawford Drive worked just fine.  Stockton’s California Tortilla’s were the BEST.  I assembled everything once I arrived…delicious!  I can’t wait until our next class.
Thanks!

Again, I have so enjoyed the classes and the recipes. Your stories about Rock Hudson were interesting and touching. How wonderful to have had such a dear friend. Many people live their lives and never have that kind of a friendship.
Thanks again,

Dear Stockton,
Thank you so much for all of these recipes. I am truly enjoying the classes. I made the meat loaf last week with great reviews from my critics. It made so much I was able to share with an ill neighbor. You were part of a blessing for them. Thanks.

I am working on a filler article for a magazine. Your comments in the first class about using good olive oil gave me the idea for the topic.  I have recently tossed my cheap olive oil and gone for the better quality oils. I have noticed a difference. Would you mind me quoting you in my article?

Sorry, I hit the send button before I finished. User error! Anyway, I would love a quote from you about olive oils if you do not mind.
